Abstract: This document presents some Spaniards successful realizations for girders using the Z and the C section in big scale. It is tried to describe the way they work under torsion actions in a simple way. It is done a theoretical extrapolation to describe and quantify the Miami pedestrian bridge collapse causes under the available documentation the author had got in the moment it is done.
