Abstract: Education on cultural heritage for younger generations is important in Vietnam. By using GIS technology with the support of UAV and 3D laser, digitalization and other technologies to create information system will not only meet the demand for open access but also serve for culture education and tourism. With 26 UNESCO heritages in Vietnam, over 100 vestiges nationwide and 529 vestiges in Quang Tri, teachers are able to use and add more lessons for improving knowledge and evaluate the value of cultural vestiges, creating a link among subjects such as mathematics, geography, history and social science. Students can get new knowledge on history and culture via contextual information and 3D interaction. Users are able to virtually visit the cultural sites easily from the same single source of the system.
