Integrated System of Surveillance, Alert and Forecasting of Precipitations (SIVAPP)

Abstract: The Integrated Surveillance, Alert and Precipitation Forecasting System (SIVAPP for its acronym in Spanish) was developed for the Ministry of Water, Environment and Public Services, Secretariat of Water Resources of Córdoba between 2015 and 2016. The system includes daily reports generated from eight systems. The result is a set of products that are used daily by the Secretariat of Water Resources and the (EPEC) of Córdoba to facilitate decision making and enhance work with municipalities, civil defense, reservoir operators and electrical system operators between others.
