Abstracts: In the school environment, during the last years, we unfortunately witness the phenomenon of intra-school aggression or intra-school violence and bullying. School bullying is the uninvited, systematic, repetitive aggression aimed at imposing, oppressing and causing physical and mental pain from students to students in the area which is meant for children socialization. Bullying has multiple effects on both the mental and the psychosocial development of students. The interaction of individual and environmental factors contributes to the appearance of the phenomenon and so do the individual characteristics of children and the family. The media and the use of the internet often promote violence, which results in the creation of antisocial patterns, since — when a child follows an aggressive pattern — it is more likely to present an aggressive behavior. Based on the above, we considered it useful to investigate the attitudes and perceptions of the students of our school towards the phenomenon of school violence.

Key words: school bullying, perpetrator, victim, exploring students’ points of view
