Abstract: The article presents a comparative analysis of Russian and Hebrew phonetic systems and the description of challenges that Hebrew-speaking students might encounter during acquiring pronunciation in Russian. Russian consonants are arranged in the order from the most to the least difficult sounds for Hebrew-speaking students, which can be used while preparing teaching materials for speakers of Hebrew.
