Abstract: The modern generation is referred as the age of the digital age. Technology has caused rapid changes in society, because of the impact it has on all levels economically, socially, culturally. The school, which is a miniature of society, as it is normal it is impossible to remain unaffected by these changes. On the contrary, it is a request for the preparation of the school regarding the use of New Technologies by the students for their benefit.

The introduction of New Technologies pushes for a radical change in the educational landscape, in terms of ways of teaching, studying, learning, participation, evaluation, while preparing users to adopt a fruitful use beyond the school. The way people interact with the computer, the teacher with the student creates a direct educational process. The use of ICT in schools creates an open, multi-sensory and pluralistic environment for all. Especially, students who have a special learning disability have the opportunity through the use of ICT to benefit from it and it can be an important learning tool for them.

The states have established the teaching of Informatics as a separate subject of the curriculum in schools, both general and special. Concerns are raised about the proper use of technology but also about the degree of benefit of students from it, so it is imperative the need for systematic research and policy so that students in special education benefit from the use of New Technologies (Long & Markou, 2015).
