Abstract: The open-air institution of philanthropic hygiene has been the subject of a study of wider interest by people who have tried to promote the principles of new pedagogy and the school of work within specific institutions since the 1920s. Strong supporters of outdoor education moved between the anti-tuberculosis struggle, social action and pedagogical reform. Outdoor institutions under the influence of the New Age principles are a field of application of the science of medical and innovative pedagogical applications and teaching practices, where, along with architectural innovations, they are introducing new directions for how to build schools and promote an outdoor living in nature away from the unhealthy climate of large urban centers.
