Abstract: The flow of ideas, values and people on the world along with the linguistic and cultural diversity of modern societies affect the formation of cultural identities by creating unique “anthropogeographies” within social groups. The school classroom, as a framework of knowledge, education and culture, is a continuously evolving ensemble that includes a variety of characteristics and is shaped within a multifactorial framework of interactions. The study uses the method of bibliographic retrieval aiming to define the conceptual framework of the term “anthropogeography of the classroom” and highlighting the pedagogical and didactic dimensions it can take. The term “anthropogeography” highlights this pluralism of characteristics that makes up the social ensembles of everyday school life.

Key words: anthropogeography, students’ biographies, classroom, schooling
