Use and Search Behaviour of Online Information Resources by Students in Greek Schools

Abstract: Every day, digital technology is integrated into the daily lives of all people, young and old. Children, in particular, gain technological experience from a very early age in a global society where social media and online communities are increasingly concerned with the way they communicate, learn and grow. This article analyzes the use of digital tools by Greek adolescents and the process of searching for online information resources. The research found, on the one hand, a specific behaviour of search and use of applications and, on the other, hand the constant desire of young people for education with the physical presence of teachers was underlined.
