Abstract: The purpose of this work is to build a systemic problem solving model at a high hierarchical level of knowledge: this aims to unveil the world’s interconnections surrounding the main factors that influence human behavior towards the Sustainability issues. We propose a new project called “SEE Dynamics” as per “Socio/Economic Environmental”, starting with a complex Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) based on the principles of System Thinking, to demonstrate what we see as the major cause-effect-feedback links among:
  ●Entrepreneurial/Industrial (Private/public) subsystems,
  ●Social/Institutional subsystems
  ●Environmental (Natural/Health) subsystems.
The aim is to move our civility from the “Anthropoceneperiod” (subjugation of the Environment by humans) toward a renewed “Cambrianperiod” (proliferation of diversified living beings). As shown by the scientific statistics and reports on investments and prospects, our society and capitalistic system is far beyond the target of achieving the Sustainability goal, currently spending less than 1% of the needed capital for the Sustainability figures. In view of the result of Paris Conference in 2015, where the UN General Assembly adopted “the2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” structured in 17 “SDGs” (Sustainable Development Goals), we aim to design a Global Welfare for Sustainability by catching the critical SDGs within a common frame of resolution.

The current status of the project is a “Feasibility Design”: a qualitative model has been built by unfolding the problematic pattern and capturing the existing knowledge within a creative design of a kind of Homeostatic Mechanism of Control. Afterwards, subsequent stages will deal with quantitative methods to be implemented into the model: a “Basic Design” for the SD model (kernel) and a “Detail Design” for the auxiliary SD sub-models.
